Exodus 12:1 :: God tells Moses to think of the Passover as the beginning of the year. This was the first time in the ancient world when the new year wasn’t tied to nature or a false god. It was based on when God passed over the Israelites. The Passover is the longest, oldest, continuously-observed spiritual observance in the world.

During the moment when Gideon is observing men who drink water like a dog, God chooses them instead of those who drink water while kneeling. 1 Samuel 6:13–16 :: When the Philistines sent the Ark of the Lord back to Israel the cows pulling the cart went to Joshua’s field. Shouldn’t this have been a hint to the Israelites?

1 Samuel 22:1–2 :: Was David hanging out with tax collectors and sinners?

2 Samuel 14 :: Was David considering Absalom as his successor? Was this why the servants did these complex moves? Did the people love Absalom so much as per 2 Samuel 15 that the servants were motivated to do this? Or was Absalom maneuvering for many years because he knew Solomon was the intended successor?

Luke 1:39–35 :: Elizabeth’s baby jumped, not Mary’s baby

Luke 7:18:23 :: Even John the Baptist had moments of doubt and Jesus had to assure him

Luke 9:27 :: I suspect Jesus referred to John writing the book of Revelation, and thus not dying before he “saw” the kingdom of God
