God considers people who believe in Him to be one people. Paul’s statement about people of any nation being one in Christ in Galatians 3:28 isn’t unique to the New Testament. In fact, God said this first to Moses at the time of the Exodus and the Passover. Non-Hebrew people who believed in the God of Jacob were considered to be members of the community with equal footing and legal protection, as well as sacred obligations.
