Angels appear as supporting characters. They appear in obedience to God in support roles to the humans to whom they appear. They don’t appear as main characters.

- Genesis 32:24–30 :: agreed to be the Lord’s angel who fought with Jacob
- Genesis 48:16 :: Jacob mentions an angel who protected him during his life
